Here is the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 schedule, which provides precise timings for matches based on regions.
All ten participating teams will engage in a round-robin format, playing against each other once. This stage will comprise a total of 45 matches.
The top four teams emerging from the group stage will advance to the semi-finals. The semi-final matchups will be cross-overs, where the team ranked 1st will face the team ranked 4th, and the team ranked 2nd will play against the team ranked 3rd.
The victors of the two semi-final clashes will vie for the championship in the final match.
During the group stage, each match will carry a value of two points for the winning team. In case of a tied match, both teams will be awarded one point each. If a match gets abandoned due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, both teams will receive one point.
The top four teams from the group stage will be ranked based on the following criteria in order of priority:
In the event that two or more teams are tied on all the above criteria, the team with the higher ICC ODI ranking will be granted the higher ranking.
For the semi-finals and the final, a knockout format will be followed. If a semi-final or final match ends in a tie, a Super Over will be conducted to determine the winner.
